Anyone else get this email today? I just got an email asking me to take a brief survey about the drum kit. In it they asked about any components to the drum kit that may have failed, and ask for what went wrong with them. It seems like EA is trying to figure out how to resolve the issues with the drum kit. On one hand, I'm happy to see that they are making an effort. On the other hand, I'm concerned that they have not yet resolved the issues and replacing a drum kit would be pointless. I've been intending to replace my pads, but I've been holding off until it seems like EA has the situation under control.

Yeah, I just got it also...was strange cause I was just responding on here to someone about my drum pedal...

Yep, I just checked and I got one too. Although I'm glad they finally seem to be doing something about it, this pretty much confirms they probably aren't close to getting the problems fixed.

That's cool that they're trying to gather information. It means they have some desire to fix it.
I've been frankensteining my own set and cataloging the changes and fixes I've been making in hopes of making a longer lasting set. Hopefully they have something better stewed up.

I also got the survey and got my replacement drums yesterday. I'm goin to give my new drums a full test out before completing the survey.
Glad to see the wheels are still turning

How would they have your email? Have you all who received the email gotten replacement drums? Or was there some registration I missed?

I got it too. I'm betting it's something for the people that did RMA requests on a drum part. It's pretty in-depth though, asking specifically which part broke and to what degree it broke after how long.
Even if stuff's still breaking, I'm glad they're pretty obviously making a good effort about things. :)

Yes, I filed an RMA and got the survey, plus a customer support survey. I think this is good for EA to do - although I think that when I filed the RMA I should have also been able to give mre detailed information about what my problem was with the drums.
