Did Thom Yorke re-sing the song? Or did Harmonix edit the song to sound like he's singing that part himself?

That is the radio version. It has always been aired that way and is even a secret song (after the last song on side B) on the Pablo Honey cassette.

This was recorded for the american release of pablo honey. I guess you can say fcuk in all of its various forms on bbc radio as long as you aren't talking about the act of fcuking.
So he said they flew him to a studio and they just recorded him singing one word.
I also remember Thom saying that if he had really thought about it he never would have recorded the "special" version.

That makes sense. I was only seven when the song was released, so I wasn't aware that it was on the radio. And where I live there are no radio stations worth listining to :(
Thanks for clearing this up.

Speaking of the song, has anyone noticed it sounds noticeably different from the CD version of the song? The singing and guitar strumming sound a lot rougher.

sounds the same to me. and i've heard that song about ten thousand times, and I have very good headphones.
it's been remastered, obviously, but it's clearly the same recording.
