Speed Metal!!!!!!!!!

I would really like to see speed metal, specially DRAGON FORCE, or SYMPHONY X (some consider Symphony X as progresive).

Please post your speed metal bands you would like to see in Rock Band. Help us speed freaks get our fix. LOL :D

Do you mean Power Metal? I consider Symphony X to be... well... symphonic metal.

Symphony is more progressive than anything. They blend power more into their songs than Dream Theater though. DT is pure progressive all the way.

I thinik speed is more in the branch of thrash nowadays. And speed metal doesnt always means its as fast as say, normal power metal. I always see speed metal as power metal thats less "melodic" (melodic in the Metal sense. Of course, it doesnt mean it doesnt have melody. if it didnt, it wouldnt be music, would it? for those who dont know. metaheads skip this parenthesis), and more heavy.

I dont consider DragonForce speed. Thats power + steroid metal.

I consider DragonForce to be Power Metal. Symphony X is very prog though. I just like to think of them as like, the forefathers of symphonic metal.

Yeah, I'd love to see some Sonata Arctica, Kamelot and Rhapsody in this game. Unfortunately, these bands rely heavily on their keyboardists (Which is why, as a keyboardist myself, I worship these bands), so the bassist and guitarists wouldn't have much time to shine. The pre-recorded keyboard track would have all the cool spots. :/
