I know it's never going to happen, but wouldn't it be cool if you had a mic stand, so you could play the guitar and sing. All At once...

If you want to make sure you're getting the right size mic stand, just bring the mic with you and see what mic stand fits. Problem solved.

I wish one would come with the mic, but I'll end up buying one, so I can sing with my hands free, and then be able to play Guitar or Drums while doing it.

Not gonna work pal cos u have to do the whole cowbell tamborine hit the mic during the solo stuff just so u couldnt do what would be immense. shame that.

As I understand it, the cowbell/tamborine is triggered by tapping the microphone. Which means that the software is checking for some sort of audio cue for each tap. It seems like you could simulate that sort of audio cue by blowing heavily on the mic. (puff puff puff instead of tap tap tap)
Alternatively you could bang your forehead against the mic while your hands continue to play the guitar/drums, but I don't think that's a preferred option. ;)

hmmm you know what it wouldnt hurt that much if you tapped it lightly... chrz pal i didnt mind singing but the problem is is that i love Lead and probably will love drums so i didnt wanna choose.

Who said that you have to utilise the tambourine feature? I thought it was sometrhing that was an optional thing you could do rather than an actual points scoring thing.

I'm pretty sure you get something for hitting it.
And I'm not sure if it's audio cues or actual motion sensing that takes care of the mic tamb. recognition.

You can just use your head to hit the mic. Cowbell problem solved.

If the mic looks as big as I think it is, it will probably fit into a regular mic stand, or you could just craft one out of some PVC pipe, but think of how hard it will be to play guitar and sing at the same time. :(
