Well wait, I chose the regular method. I have to send them the stuff first. So if i just send the pads, they'll send some pads back?

If you requested drum pads thats what you send back, not the bass pedal or the sticks, the pads. If you requested sticks you'd send the sticks, you requested a bass pedal you'd send the pedal, it's a rather simple thing.

I seriously doubt it. Drumsticks produced en masse like these cost them only a few cents.

Hello,

When packaging your drum kit for return you need to include the drum pads, the metal legs and the feet. Do not include the drum sticks or the Drum pedal.

The full instructions for packaging your drum kit for return can be found here:

I use my own sticks. Does anyone else just toss the packaged sticks?

I did, but they were starting to chip, so I bought some 5A Zildjians.
