Teamspeak

Okay, here is the question...

I have a TS server set up, I dont know how many of you would consider useing teamspeak while playing RB or any other game for that matter, but if there is enough intreast for applying it for use with rockband I will open it for public use. I have the extra bandwidth and wouldnt mind shareing.

for those who dont know what this is, its voice chat software, this would allow those of us who want to comunicate while playing RB useing there computer.

Ill see how this Poll goes over the next few days to decide if its realy a wanted thing.

THey really, really should get the PS3 version updated with Chat enabled. It's sad and lazy they haven't.

It's a PC thing, both TeamSpeak and Ventrillo. This is what we're having to put up with as PS3 owners... :o

And yes, I'd definitely be interested.

Voice chat via computer..and yes, I agree it should be incorprated into RB on the PS3, but since it isnt or isnt yet that is, I was curious if there would be a major use or need for this option...it does work for my friends and I, I thought I would share if there was alot of people that wanted this.

Yeah It's really sad that they didn't add in some type of chat in the game. My best use for it would be in the score battles..I would really like to talk to the people i'm playing, it's a very quiet (when I wanna tell someone good job on beating me)

I totaly agree budds, that was one reason I origanly set up the server, it has worked well, made things intreasting, and I ended up meeting some realy good players that are now friends...

I prefer IRC chat to voice communication. That way you have a history, chat log, persistent environment, and capacity to host a larger quanity of people.

I guess if you're on the PS3 version it might be useful.

Apples, that is a very good point.

Then again I have had right at 200 people on TS at the same time during a raid.

The IRC chat is defently a good idea tho.
