Song Suggestions

Some songs that i think would be really good for rock band are

1."My Sacrifice" - Creed
2."Welcome Home" - Coheed and Cambria
3."Raining Blood" - Slayer
4."Sultans of Swing" - Dire Straits

The one that i really want is Sultans of Swing, if that was in the game i'd be incredibly happy! Raining Blood would be great because there's only been one song so far, in the main track list, that was really heavy (Laid to Rest) and since Harmonix/MTV are trying really hard for master tracks now it'd be even better, Welcome home would be a challenging song for vocals and fun to play as well, and My Sacrifice is a good song all around, basically if any of these songs make the game i'll be ecstatic, but Sultans of Swing would be ideal.

If anyone from Harmonix/MTV reads this, please consider these songs, and thanks for your time!

Oh yeah i'm definitely not tmanrocks, lol actually soon after making my thread i looked down and saw your name and went awwww crap now i look way less original! but whatever, it happens, and choosing creed isn't really a heinous offense it's more for the common gamer than it is for myself, i love my sacrifice, but i'm more of a metalhead. however i was pretty much positive that if i had asked for king diamond, dimmu borgir, rob zombie, etc. that i would probably be turned down on the spot, but i really do want Sultans of Swing......a lot

Did you see that thread where that girl claimed harmonix was bragging about how they will make lesser known bands famous?

Well , harmonix put in Shadows fall , all that remains , lamb of God all in GH2

So... I think its ok to say... dimmu borgir has a shot... they are as big if not bigger than all 3 of those

King diamond probably actually has a shot too

and hopefully with all the "ZOMG DRAGONFORCE" topics they would have researched power metal and give us a chance to play some other power metal bands on plastic instruments lol

Well i certainly was happy to see Lamb of God in there, but then i played the song and the terrible vocals made me and a few small children in Tanzania cry for a few hours.

I'd be real happy to see those bands and others make it into rock band and if they actually have a chance that's great! The only scream-o band that i really dislike is children of bodom, cuz they just take it a bit too far, so other than them any band like that'd be great in my opinion.

Dragonforce isn't even that frickin good anyway, anyone who actually plays an instrument can tell you that Herman Li is pretty decent, but has no live/stage presence, and the....white guy of the band is just a terrible guitarist anyway, their vocals kinda blow too, they're extremely cheesy, however Through the Fire and Flames would still be fun as hell to play.......good thing it's already in GH3!!! Geez, now people can frickin shutup about it, although i already know they won't.

And hell yes, i've been saying from the beginning that there should be a keyboard controller.......or in newwaytodie's case a keytar controller lol

lol, sorry that i failed you so bad, but i suppose i can't say to much **** about CoB, i really only listened to like 2 of their songs and decided that i hate alexi laiho's vocals, which i pretty much do, but i heard downfall and i loved the guitar in it, i thought that they kinda butchered Aces High, but that's just cuz i'm a big time maiden fan and taking uber high vocals and turning them into super low growl vocals just isn't working for me.

I'll admit it to the world!!!! I Epic Failed!

Can you imagine how weird COB would be if they sang instead? Janne warman (COB keyboardist) has another band called warmen... they sing instead of scream and honestly... I like COB better lol

There's this one song song thats like "F*ck off and die" or something to that effect. And thats the only thing I can understand in the whole song. Somehow it makes me smile.

Warmen would be pretty sweet too, i only know of Salieri Strikes Back, but that song is awesome, however it's instrumental so they would never put it into rock band due to the lack vocals. I've never heard anything else by them so i wouldn't know anything about Bodom Vs. Warmen

In Aces High i can understand him throughout the whole song.......cuz i already know all the words lol, but in downfall as soon as the vocals start up i swear that he doesn't even know what he's saying, idk 2 years ago i hated death metal in general but now i'm a bigtime fan so idk! they could grow on me for all i know, but i kinda doubt it.
