I discovered the band Acroma while listening to Pandora (thank God they're still around, but the fight isn't over yet.) Their sole album Orbitals was produced by Sylvia Massy (also produced stuff for Tool), so it has some Tool influence as well as some other great sounds.
Check out the songs "Motive", "Sun Rises Down" and "Don't Think Just Move". The latter starts a little slow but picks up nicely. I'd also say check out the entire album, it's great!
