Will the ps3 / xbox 360 wired controllers work on both 360 and ps3? Both use USB so i figured it wouldn't be that hard to make this work. I would really appreciate an answer because i recently bought a ps3 and already had an xbox 360. I'd like to buy rock band on ps3 because of the larger hard drive space, but if the controllers are not compatible i would buy the 360 version so my friends who don't have ps3's could bring their instruments over or i could take mine to their homes. thanks for any reply.

No this isn't really altogether possible due to the requirements of the systems.

Awesome , so that means if my 360 friend bought the Drums and i Bought my ps3 Guitar we could use Both Peripherals on any of the 2 Systems ?

No, it means the controllers have to be system specific.
