So I live in Australia and I imported the game coz I'd already been waiting 8 months, I couldn't wait another 4 or whatever for the release here...

Now, my guitar finally broke today, the strum bar no longer works strumming down. It was perfectly fine up until tonight when my bro and I played the endless setlist, it koncked out with about 10 songs to go but we still made it though.

So yeah, I'm pretty damn sure EA isnt gonna replace my guitar, they can barely handle US and Canada so looks like im outta luck. I'm just curious as to weather or not my warranty will still be valid when the game comes out in Australia in the next couple of months.

I've sent EA an e-mail about it all... I wonder what the response is gonna be :/

I would like to know that too, since I've imported the game to Austria (Austria, not Australia! ;) ) and my downstrum stopped working today.

But maybe I can fix it myself, at least until it breaks completly, see there:

Yeah, I spose if they wont honor the warranty then I should still be able to fix it myself... I hope. I wanna buy a second guitar for bass and really dont wanna have to buy 2 new guitars, that'll cost a good $150+ AU.

Also, cool new forum pic coldplayer *thumbs up*

Thanks! But I've actually found the link to this post a few weeks ago here in the official forum and bookmarked it immediately, just in case.

And now I really needed it. I tried that yesterday and after I did it my guitar worked again. But just for a few hours, I mean, it still works, but I have the feeling it still doesn't register all the hits, especially at very fast strumming sections, like in "Creep".
