rock band needs CKY

really i was hoping that cky would be in guitar hero 2 with the song "96 quite bitter beings" but they didnt put it they need 96 quite bitter beings in rock band if you havent heard it go listen to a 30 second clip...or something on itunes. i think it would be fun and cky knows all about rock band and guitar hero and they thought that 96 quite bitter beings would be in guitar hero but that option faded away. i really hope that song gets in rock band or at least in the future guitar hero games

Rock Band doesn't need CKY. CKY needs RB. They are not to my likings and as consequence, suck.

you need to do some research on your music dude its not bam's band he cant even play an instrument well. bam's brother is the drummer they get free endorsements from viva la bam though and dont confuse CKY with the CKY crew. CKY is the band and the CKY crew is something bam did to name his crew...maybe to advertise it alittle bit

If i remember correctly, HMX has stated that they'd like to include lesser known bands in the game also, at least in terms of DLC.

however the term "Lesser known" for CKY isn't as appropriate as "Fadded into obscurity"

i like 96QBB, and i think it'd actually be pretty fun on rock band, but its more that i like that song, and not so much anything else they've ever done.

Argh, I hate making an account to post on one thread but here it goes. So your saying that cKy is a very known band and that HMX wants lesser known bands to be featured. Last time I checked, Metallica is a known band, as well as, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters, KISS, and Bon Jovi.

Now your gonna say, "I meant DLC." Well for DLC they also have Metallica and Nirvana.

Don't try to pull the card that cky is over-played, overrated, "bams" band, or popular. When's the last time you heard cKy on the radio, almost never. When is the last time you heard Enter Sandman, Master of the Puppets, or Smells Like Teen Spirit on the radio? For me it was just this morning. Or that new Foo Fighters song(i forgot what it's called.)

I will admit that they do have a lot of unknown bands. But i still don't think you can pull the card that cky is popular.

Don't get me wrong, I love cky. I would love to see The Way You Lived, Flesh Into Gear, Disengage the Simulator, Attached at the Hip, Shippensburg, along with many other of their songs in this game.

I think it's just wrong to label bands something that they are not.

ahh no. bams not "friends" with people from neversoft. He is WAY more closer with MTV. so i think itd be more likely to come out in RB than in GH3 even tho bam doesnt got ALOT to do with the band but he might do a little.

Thats exactly right that his brother plays the drums for CKY. But play can play an instrument though. He plays in a band called Gnarkill. It is a vey funny bad. You should check them out sometime. Cky isn't even at all close with MTV. Bm just does a show for mtv and could care less about rock band. But i would kill for some Cky in this game.

I wouldn't mind a "Bam Margera Track Pack" that includes tracks from his favorites, not unlike what iTunes does with their celebrity playlists. It makes sense since Harmonix teams with MTV. 69 Eyes, Clutch, Cradle of Filth, HIM (anyway I can get them in the game, I'll take it!), Gwar, and CKY.

Have you heard of this new game called "rock band" due out later this year? It's from the creators of guitar hero, and it is basically another guitar hero only much more. There is lead guitar, bass guitar, drums, and vocals and most of the songs so far are the original cuts. So basically you get a group of friends, all pick an instrument you would like to take part in, and then you can really get the taste of what it's like being in a band. CKY FINISHING UP WORK ON NEW ALBUM

CKY COMPLETING WORK ON CARVER CITY - SET FOR RELEASE ON MAY 19

CKY has completed mixing their 4th record, tentatively titled Carver City, set for release on Roadrunner Records on May 19. As with all their previous albums, Carver City was produced by the band's guitarist Chad I Ginsburg. The album was recorded at Studio CIG in the band's home state of Pennsylvania and mixed by Ginsburg and Phil Nicolo at Studio 4 in Conshohocken, PA. Some of the eleven tracks set to appear include: "Hellions On Parade," "The Boardwalk Body," "...And She Never Returned," "Karmaworks" and "Woe Is Me."

Singer Deron Miller comments, "Literally all the things that have been keeping CKY strong since our last album - the undying hardcore support of our fans, our unorthodox musical approach and a brand new partnership with Roadrunner Records - have restored an enthusiasm within our band that has never been this extreme. Sobriety, hard work, patching up inner turmoil and a love for what we do has undoubtedly made this the most collaborative and focused CKY effort to date."

Ginsburg concurs: "The album is more inventive and more layered than our past releases, with the most melodies, textures and riffs of any CKY album. It is by far the most inspired album we have ever made."

According to Miller, Carver City carries with it a "dark summer vacation vibe," nostalgic of the band members' childhood trips to the East Coast beaches. "The fabled town of Carver City has a history of bad luck and misfortune, all the while giving the impression that it's a pleasant family getaway. Much like CKY's town of Hellview, Carver City's events are depicted in the songs, with story lines coming from real life events."

CKY are planning to tour in support of their Roadrunner debut in the spring.''

Yeah~ I have the album~ but if we're gonna get any CKY in the game it's gonna be in a pack or singles.
