I simply can NOT believe these guys have not been in GH yet! This band was great then, and their music holds up today. Similarly, Temple of the Dog would also be an excellent choice.

Not the same band here as we all know but it's worthy to throw in some Temple of the Dog. If there could somehow be two mics, hunger strike would be amazing in the game.

They should just put the whole album "Badmotorfinger" up as DLC. That would be a great full band album - although singers might have trouble hitting Chris Cornell's high notes.

I think what's kept Soundgarden from being in a GH game in the past was the Cochise cover on the first Guitar Hero, but with this whole master track thing they got going, I'm all for it, hopefully they are too. All of what's been said so far are great choices, though I'm not sure if I'd buy all of Badmotorfinger for Rock Band. Outside of Rusty Cage, Jesus Christ Pose, Outshined, and Slaves and Bulldozers, that album's kinda white noise.

My one contribution to the thread would be Tighter & Tighter off of Down on the Upside, how has no one heard of this song?

Hell yes. Or better yet, put in Temple Of The Dog. An AWESOME supergroup of the best bands of the Seattle grunge scene.
