will there be a demo?

The only demo there could be would be for a guitar, and that would seriously limit the demo, I really don't think there will be one, we'll just have to wait for the whole game to come out, so we can get the full experience.

There will be a GH III demo, unless they have decided not to have one since I last checked, which is pretty cool, but it isn't necessary.

I think it's a safe bet to say we will not see any type of demo at all for Rock Band.

The closest thing you're going to get to a demo is when its released and a store sets it up for play.

I'm guessing you're still able to play with the regular controller so it could be everything.

You could attempt to bid on ebay in a couple of years for a prototype, that would be the closest you would get to a demo.

I think there could be a point to having a create a character demo, you download the demo, create your character, save the character, and upload him when you have the game. It could work, but I'd much rather the demo be gameplay...

Hopefully they'll have little set ups in stores, like they have for Guitar Hero.
