Rock Band Download content

I heard a rumor that Microsoft and Xbox 360 will have exclusive rights to downloadable content. Is this true? I don’t want a 360 but don’t want to be left out because I have a PS3.

on ign if u look under rock band for the ps3 under features in the upper right, it does say downloadable content, so im pretty sure the ps3 will have it too, because also rock band never specified if one system would have it so i think that means they'll both have it, the only thing im worried about is if the osn will put up stuff as often as the live maretplace cause sometimes the psn is bad with game additions and downloadable content, so we'll have to wait and see, but anyways yeah i think they will both have it

That would cause a huge uproar if it was exclusive to one console only. Don't worry, there should be exactly the same amount of DLC for both systems.

Supposedly and are is a whole different ball game. Rock Band is suppose to have Stairway To Heaven. Doesn't mean it does.

And this is more than just about whoever has the deepest pockets. Harmonix will have at least two consoles to draw revenue from. Microsoft's money will only stretch so far until its depleted. With both system holding DLC License the money would continue to roll in undoubtedly until the cows came home.

small note teh GTA4 stuff wasn't bought by MS it's part of an agreement. MS gave Rockstar and advance of 50 million onsales. SO once GTA4 reaches 50 mil in sales MS gets the money back.

however the question dose come up because microsoft is putting money into the game ie all video i have seen is on 360. and microsoft is listed on the homepage i dont see sony anywere

Microsoft can wave their money at Rockstar but they can't at EA, cos Microsoft Games wise (obviously ignoring the ridiculous amount of money windows makes) they're pretty similar.

They'll be on both 360 and PS3. Promise. Then 6 months l8r all the content will be available on one wii disc in a mega pack. You heard it from me first :P

Absolutely 100% guarantee that DLable content will be for both consoles. Would they really even make it for the PS3 if it's gonna have just 40 songs to fill up 41 venues?
