I fixed it.
Fall is Sept. 21st - Dec. 21st
The "Holiday Season" is Columbus Day - New Years.
It could come out at any point in those timeframes basically.
Nov. 20th seem to be the overall estimate, just not confirmed.

I would love to see it come out for christmas, because with Halo 3, Madden 08 and Guitar Hero 3 comming out. I'm going to have sh*t for cash.

Nov. 20th would be the perfect time for "Christmas" Nowadays, the Christmas season seems to be even before Thanksgiving! (in the states)
So that special "biggest shopping day of the year" (Nov. 23rd) is the perfect time for consumers to purchase this, and perfect time for the company to get the most of it's money.
EDIT: The only problem for the ones who are getting it for Christmas is the fact you have to wait till then to play it. Thank God I'm not in that category!

Guitar Hero 3 is out September just so if you're getting a bit desperate for Rock Band GH3 will tide you over...

With an unannounced release date, there is less of pressure for staff to cram in features, bug fixes, etc by an abitrary deadline. If bug fixing takes an extra week, there's no negative PR hit and so on. I think everyone is in agreement that they'd rather see the release take its time rather than rush to meet an unrealistic timeframe.
In short, it will be done when it's done. Quality takes time, perfection more so.

hear hear (however you spell that noise which crowds make in agreement) pal...
Its Activision's problem to get GH3 out b4 Rock Band to stand anychance. Id rather wait til next year than for Harmonix to cock it up but i doubt they will

November 20 is Rock Band's rumored date. October 28 is the rumored date for Guitar Hero 3.(Unless they already confirmed this; I haven't paid any attention to the date.)

The NEW rumored date is November 6th. Because a magazine said so. I'm still skeptical.
