The Beatles - Helter Skelter (especially this song, but really no matter what song the Beatles deserve to be in any music game. Also all you Family Guy fans...that episode where they get relocated to the south and Stewie plays the banjo and says, "I got blisters on my fingers!" is from Helter Skelter.)
Just about any song by The Black Keys. A modern blues type duo. Amazing.
More Coheed and Cambria, but espcially Gravemakers and Gunslingers off their new album.
Just about every Metallica song. You can never have too much Metallica.
Pantera. Same as Metallica.
Please for the love of God more Lynyrd Skynyrd. That Smell, or Gimme Back My Bullets.
Dethklok. I know they're a fake ass band, but still fun to play.
Same thing with Dragonforce. Ridiculous, but fun to play.
How about some Hendrix.
Or Santana.
Both guitar gods.
Don't forget Stevie Ray Vaughn. Especially Texas Flood.
You can never have enough Maiden, or Ozzy/Black Sabbath. And why not throw in some Iced Earth if you need some crazy metal.
Also, say what you will, but I'm surprised there isn't any Guns N' Roses in there. I mean yeah Slash is in a half good band now, and who knows what Axl is doing, but they still left a mark on music.
And don't forget the Rolling Stones. Gimme Shelter is a great song, but there are so many more too.
I'm glad Rock Band plans on having new songs available weekly because there's a good chance for a lot of this stuff to be on there in the future...but let's prioritize people.
