I think they should add a few more devs so they can crank out even more DLC. What do you guys think?

I think there's plenty. Any more, and I'd go broke! You're looking at this with too narrow a vision. Imagine a year from now, with an average of 3 songs per week.

3 songs x 52 weeks = 156 songs.

Now, consider that they've been giving us more than a 3-per-week average (launch day had 15 songs, Christmas day had 5 songs). Add to that the 18 Grateful Dead songs one week, a 9-track Who album another week and a 12-track Nirvana album another week.

18 songs from Grateful Dead Pack + 21 songs from Who's Next and Nevermind + (3 songs x 49 weeks) = 186 songs, not counting any other albums or double/triple doses of song packs.

You're looking at easily 200 songs by this time next year. Honestly, how much more do you want?

I've bought maybe 2/3rds of the DLC so far, have a few others saved for an off week, and I think they're doing just fine so far.

What I'd really like to see is some playlists patched in BWT for the DLC songs. It kind of dawned on me that I've bought a ton of it but I only see it when I get to custom playlists - and lately I've been using those on songs I know well enough to pull off on expert vocals and guitar.

The problem though is no one will download every single song . Some of them will be sitting for weeks because of a lack of money, or interest.

It's kind of like the Nintendo Wii virtual console. You save up money and wait for your favorites, or good party songs, or even the track packs and the albums, and then you get them when you need them. That is the beauty of the download content. No obligation, no need to get every single song, although it would be nice, and no need to waste money on songs you don't like.

So let them keep doing what they are doing right now, three songs a week is fine, we have hundreds of songs to choose from to put in the game anyway.

156 songs a year is definitely impressive.. but then again, if its 156 songs you don't like, then, well that sucks lol.. i don't wanna sound greedy but i wouldnt mind seeing more than 200  i dont think they need to hire more devs to make DLC though, i think they've been doing an excellent job so far with the content!

I think another dev could decrease the quality for sure.

Harmonix is showing a great track record with DLC. I've bought every song I want and I think any more might be too much. If they keep up this rate, it'll be fine.

Haha, I'd be one of the oddballs, using your assumption then. :P I definitely buy everything, no matter what....a new song is a new song. :D

I think they already have a pretty large team devoted to this.

I also buy all the DLC.

A good 50% that's out so far are songs I really like.

The other ones I buy because it's another new challenge on four different instruments. No two songs are exactly the same.

I don't know if DLC is that big a moneymaker for HMX. They might even be taking a loss on some songs.

bad idea. some people will just start being very selective about what they want. so yes, sales will go up, but maybe not as much as their costs.

Yeah, they want to get as much money as they can per song. Too few and they wont make good money, too many and people will become more selective and even though them make more money, they will be putting in much more. They need to find the right balance. I think they need to release a full album once a month and then the usual 3-5 songs a week. It's a lot but i think it's the sweet spot. And i just hope to god we get the Toxicity album...

I dont see why anybody couldnt download every song other than money. Sure you might disagree with the choices made, or not like those bands in general, but suck it up! The songs are fun to play and I will be emptying my wallet to buy new DLC every week, or if they added a "More DLC" plan, I would buy it everyday.
