Probably skip six or seven weeks just to beat every song with every instrument.

I had my vacation requests for the summer denied and was advised by management that due to workload I couldn't expect vacation til November.
I took that as a sign and I'm taking launch and the two weeks after that off. ;)

Nope the game will be there waiting for me after work. On the weekends though this game will definetly hurt my social life.

I'll probably fit it into my schedule somewhere and not go overboard. Don't want to end up like my friend Freshman year who played WoW until he dropped out.

I'll have to try to convince the parents...But I doubt I'll be allowed to miss school for this game. I think I'll just play hookey to get Rock Band. But as for PLAYING the game, I'll just go to school, I'll just be excited all day during school to play.

Ha Losers! I dropped out long ago I have no direction in life but I do have Rock Band all day so suck it!
On a more real note college for me is only four days a week and only like three hours of class time so I have a lot of time to play the game, then again I gotta keep my pimp hand strong. Tough choice.

At my school, they let you vouch out of final exams if you have perfect attendance, so I figure that a few days off of school isn't worth the time I spend studying for exams, plus I'll be able to keep my grades up.

I'd love to miss school but my parents would go ballistic if I even asked.

Haha... so did I. =/
I hope I don't fail any classes because of Rock Band.. I already have without RB, but with it, it could be soo much worse.

I hope i get to play it launch day, School isn't a problem, 3 days a week at college 5 hour classes. My parents are taking my whole family to Mexico over the Thanksgiving time so if the release is around the 20th I wont even be in the country.

Well, I'm dropping out this year, so I'm gonna stay home and play until I get the school board breathing down my neck.
By the time I get bored with Rock Band, I'll have gone so long without playing my actual bass I'll sound like a boozed-up chimp. Not looking forward to that part.

Damn. This is a tough choice. Probably not though since i'm going to be a freshman this year. It's gonna be rough. lol. I'll have to see how my grades and attendance is when launch day rolls in though...... If I got to stay home for the Halo 3 Beta (which didn't come out until after school was over) then I'll probably be able to stay home for Rock Band. Expecially if I tell my mom that Nevermind is going to be in the game. I'll just have to leave out the fact it's going to be a downloadable album. lol

Join the Club I dropped out of college after 1 year, couldn't take it. Gonna spend a year or so working full time, but there will be plenty of time for Rock Band I have no worries about that, However I do have worries for my social life, which apart from work and Rock Band will be non-existent

This quote perfectly describes me if you replace the word "work" with "school" and replace "on the weekends though this game will definitely hurt my" with "luckily I don't have any"

Well, I will be in college, and I actually am looking forward to school so I won't be skipping it.
But I don't sleep more then 5 hours a night anyway so I should have plenty of time.
Though I need to find a job so that I can afford the damn game.

Although it is tempting to do so, I'll probably just consume all my free time with this game, and taking short breaks for sleep, and school.

Work at 8pm, home at 5am, up with the kids at 7, back to work that evening, repeat for 5 days, have Tuesday/Wednesday with my family, so uh yeah. Probably squeeze an hour or 2 in there somehow to play RB.

Wouldn't faking sick be exactly the same has skipping?

Depends on my class schedule. I'll be living right next to campus, I might play hookie from some classes. I skipped plenty of statistics classes for GH2.
Not going to skip work, though. Not for $15.50 an hour...
