XBOX 360 GAMERS ONLY, SORRY.

There's a slight problem with having just 3-4 members in a band: they're never on. Sure, you can wait around and play songs on a scheduled time frame, time permitting a week's notice and a lot of rescheduling to work or classes, but does that really help? Is that even worth the trouble?

Doesn't sound like much of a fun game there.

Purpose.

The Artist's Guild is a collection of bands on the Xbox 360 console with one purpose: to rock out any time, day or night. While the purpose of a band of 3-4 members is to become more familiar with one another, and we totally encourage individual bands, The Artist's Guild allows players to experiment with other bands' members when your own band is not online.

Because there's no way of determining how good your band really is without listening to them, The Artist's Guild offers a chance to find players of your own level, so there's no major frustrations in people lying just to get a band. Players connected can view Achievement Points and any online rankings among other players to get a feel of where they are in comparison to other players.

The Artist's Guild Credo.

WE BELIEVE in rocking out hardcore, day or night, while maintaining our own bands. That, in every moment not playing in a band, we could be rocking out with other artists. The spirit of gaming, and anyone considering themselves a gamer, has the opportunity to meet one another on the stage and jam to the best of their ability.

Rules.

1. You are free to add AND DELETE anyone in the guild. You are NOT obligated to stay in alliance with players with bad reputations, bad experiences, or all-around douchebags. It is your right to rock with who you want, when you want.

2. There is no king or queen of the guild. Every player in the guild is your equal. The Artist's Guild is a social network, not some elitist movement. The objective is to find the players worth playing with, not to be bound by some cult. Unless you're into that.

3. Players must subscribe to this thread, either on a daily or weekly basis. Find out who's new to the guild by e-mail. You don't want to forget about it.

4. (Optional) Throw a link to this thread into your signature. Spread the word.
