Basically twice in 5 songs have I managed on a single note to get the power from a successful sequence of notes and break my multiplyer. My foot was off the pedal and my other hand wasnt even close to the drums.
I thought maybe to check calibration and for some reason my game didnt save the change from crt to rear projection and for a while I did a lot better, and then I just had to give up because there was a single red note, nothing for miles, hit it and I see the red note explode meaning I hit it and at the same time get the clink noise meaning I hit the wrong note...

Now this is even on easy, I am a n00b when it comes to the drums but Im not so pathetic that I cant even time a single note all by itself, nor do I double tap.

So basically are my drums fubar or what? Or do I need more practice to eliminate some involuntary thing where I hit a note and my wrist reacts and smacks the pad again or something?

Well my red pad blows. So I taped it down. Then when I did that, the yellow one would set off the red one about 50% of the time. Did you do what I did?

Sskitzzo was reporting he was having issues with one of hits myriad sets of drums where it was double hitting. I expect something happened to the sensor's damping mechanisms in the pad. If it starts happening more often, either something's loose in there, or something's broken.
