Setup:
Sony Bravia SXRD KDS-50A3000 50"
XBox connected via Component cable
Symptoms:
When the XBox is outputting at 1080p, I noticed an intermittent drop in framerate while playing the drums. I haven't tested other instruments yet.
When the XBox is outputting at 1080i, there is no problem.
Questions:
Has anyone experienced issues such as I've described? If so, is this a Rock Band specific problem, or could it be a problem with my TV / cables not supporting 1080p correctly?
Any thoughts are appreciated.

It's probably not a problem with your TV. That model TV has a native resolution of 1080p.
It's also not a problem with the game. I have a Samsung 61" DLP that also has a native res of 1080p, and have my 360 (connected via HDMI) set to 1080p, and I have no framerate issues with Rock Band.
Could be your cables...does your 360 support HDMI? If so, give that a shot. You can get a really cheap one at

I found out the hard way (read: by buying an hdmi cable) that my xbox does not support it. I must have been under a rock when the elite version came out.
I was thinking it had something to do with the cable. I'll test it out with some other games to see if I can reproduce the issue.
