Free game with broken guitar???

My friend that works at Best Buy said that if you send your broken guitar in instead of exchanging it at the store that the maunufacturer is giving out a coupon for a free game because or all the faulty parts on Rockband...

Anyone hear of this yet???

The only people who got the free game coupon were the ones who put in for their faulty guitars on the first couples days of game launch. People who were offered a free game were emailed and chose from a list of selected EA titles. EA gave out the free games for the people who put their replacements in first because there was so much delay and corruption that people waited forever to get their new equipment.

And now its been 3 months and my game hasnt even come in. HAHA

Thats good to know, and not take that route! I'm glad I got the extended warrenty from Best Buy! I already returned one set because of the Guitar stumming problem. It's nice, no waiting, just take it in and get a new one on the spot.

I actually bought a second RB set so I could get a second guitar since there going for over $100 on ebay :( It wasn't bad since now I have a second set for a back-up and took the 2nd RB game to Walmart and exchanged it for Call of Duty 4 :)

Not to bad I must say hahahahahaha!
