I once saw a dev mention that they liked bands that could deliver good difficulty across the range of instruments and both these bands apply. Their drummers are both top notch, bass is good (SP) to excellent (311) and guitars for both are unique and very talented.

Interesting they mentioned that and released Blink 182 "All The Small Things", lol. That is by far their easiest song to play on the REAL guitar, so it can only be that much easier on a toy guitar.

Both bands have a ton of songs that would be very fun in RB. The entire grassroots album would be a blast, but sadly it would probably fall victim to mixed down drum tracks.

My favorite song of their is "Eons" off of Soundsystem. That will NEVER make it to Rock Band though because it's not a well known song, even amongst 311 fans. Oh well...
