A Little Piece of Heaven is an awesome song, but honestly there are songs that would be a lot more fun (and people friendly) than that. There's not really much guitar work at all in it. I'm actually only with you on Bat Country. My ideal A7X pack:

1. Bat Country
2. Betrayed
3. MIA
4. Sidewinder
5. The Wicked End

Yeah, definatly! Those are all great ones too. I guess you enjoy the older stuff better than the newest album? I gotta admit, if they put perty much any Avenged Sevenfold songs on Rock Band I would be stoked.

Yeah, idk to let the Rock Band dudes know but Avenged Sevenfold would be really fun to play and I hope they make some Avenged Sevenfold DLC soon!

Yeah, "A Little Piece of Heaven" wouldnt make it because of cussing. But the song "Lost" by Avenged Sevenfold really sounds like it would be fun all around no matter what instrument your playing on. That's my opinion anyway. The drums in "Almost Easy" - Avenged Sevenfold are freakin awsome as well as the guitar.

Another good one would be "Unbound (the wild ride)" - Avenged Sevenfold

If you havent seen me yet, i'm an A7X FREAK!!!! ILL TAKE ANYTHING!!! i dont care what song it is (except for dear god) Almost easy, lost, bat country, the wicked end, chapter 4, desecrate through reverance, IDC JUST GIVE ME A7X!!!! Also, Why does no1 like I won't see you tonight? that song is EPIC with the craziest solo of all time. A7X FOR LIFE!

Unbound and Critical Acclaim are pretty good songs, but some of their self-titled album is hit or miss for me. City of Evil is gold though. :D

Alter Bridge would be amazing. Metalingus would be a great choice for Rock Band, and almost anything from the Blackbird album would be very enjoyable to play alone as well as with other people. The vocalist is very talented and the instruments bring a little hard rock sound to otherwise melodic songs. I truly think it'd be a wonderful addition to the game.

Avenged Sevenfold and Alter bridge are far too openly religious and adding them would but Political Correctness on the line for them. And raise questions to 'Why arnt they're bands of _____(insert Religion here)_____ origins being added."
So not going to happen any time soon, if at all.

Alter Bridge would be a nice addition for a more current Rock feel. Myles Kennedy is a great vocalist and Temonti is a solid guitarist, i'd love to see them added as DLC

I would like some Avenged Sevenfold but i think they would need to release a double bass pedal periphial for the drums otherwise it just wouldnt be right but thats just me id love to play some Aveneged Sevenfold but i need that double bass

As I've been saying throughout the boards, Alter Bridge would be great to have in this game. I've got a link in my profile for people who want AB in Rock Band, so take the poll and post some more there as well as in this post if you really want some Alter Bridge.

Alter Bridge is not openly religious, Creed (aka scott stapp) is who you are thinking of. What part of AB's songs/lyrics indicate a religious undertone? Ties That Bind is about overcoming an alcohol or drug addiction, is that going to be considered a negative "influence" on those playing the song? I could go on but I suggest you do a little research and listening to their songs before labeling them openly religious. They're not attempting to bring religion into their music...and even if they were it's not like they don't already have a specifically Christian band on rock band in Flyleaf so your argument is void on that point.

The new Avenged Sevenfold album really needs to be on there they'll have to edit out some language in Critical Acclaim and A little piece of heaven. The only thing that sucks is that A little piece of heaven will be boring on bass and guitar since it is mostly orchestra. City of Evil is also very well suited for rock band everything in that album is rapid fire and cool guitar even on songs like Seize the Day and M.I.A. they better not use the beast and the harlot they used for guitar hero 2 though it's alright but when it comes to something this huge go all original it wouldn't even be hard to get since harmonix is owned by Mtv who has been getting them the original music from companies like Warner Bros. and guess what label A7X is on...
Warner Bros. as for Alter Bridge I don't really know that much by them.

I love both these bands.

While A7X is definatly a great rockout band, I think that for this game platform and setup, Alter Bridge actually is better.

Their songs range in variety more, keep a generally upbeat vibe and seem a lot less sloppy. Their vocals are completely doable, yet extrodinarily fun. Drums follow a regular pattern BUT have some amazing solos. Don't even get me started on the guitars.

I've heard Rock Band is looking into doing entire albums - I've heard The Who, Metallica, Nirvana are all potential bands.

It's unfortunate that Alter Bridge doesn't have the name recognition they deserve - they sound like a more energized -and quite frankly better- Shinedown with a hint of old Creed (obviously) and an eagerness to show off their skills.

The entire Blackbird album would fit perfectly into Rock Band. Too bad I'll never see that... but who knows, maybe I'll see a song or 2!!

BTW For those of you that havn't heard Alter Bridge go give Blackbird a listening to. You probobly havn't heard any of their songs yet... and you're missing out.
