Faulty Equipment

So after 2 weeks of owning Rock Band. My Guitar's overdrive randomly activates even though im holding the guitar very steady. Is my guitar faulty and will this be covered by the warranty if I want to get it replaced?

Also the red pad on my drums have a hard time detecting my rolls and drops a couple during the long ones. But the rest of the pads work great. Will I be able to replace my whole drum kit due to the faulty red pad?

Yes, they will both be covered under warranty. I have sent 2 drum pads back for the same issue, 1 guitar with the same problem, and a mic that quit working
