I own both a wii and 360, but I don't have the Wi-fi adapter for X-box. My wii is already online, but due to no cross-system play, I wonder if it would be better to get the 360 or wii version. (no fanboys allowed)

Get it on 360, there is no Wii version announced, and if there is one, it wont come out this year and probably wont be able to handle the DLC, I think it would be best to get it on your Xbox, especially since you have one. Unlike you I only have a Wii, so I'll be buying a 360 shortly.

At this point nobody knows if RB is coming for Wii or not, so you question is kind of pointless. IF Wii gets a version of this game it will be way later than PS3/xbox. Needless to say, the xbox graphics will rape Wii's weak hardware.

Thanks! My dad got a bonus this year and decided we would have fun with an X-box.

Your dads a lucky man :)
I agree with the above opinions, even if a wii version had been announced i think the 360 version would be the way to go.

This is true, there is no doubt that a Wii version will come out, the question is will it be good. With the Wiis questionable online play, and until recently lack of one, I wouldn't bother with it , if you can just get it on the 360. Also the Wii has almost no internal memory, and certainly a whole lot less memory than the 360 does. I wouldn't worry about graphics though, needing great graphics in a rhythm game like Rock Band is almost silly.

I would prefer the 360 version for the simple reason that the peripherals will all be specific to the game, so the Wiimote won't enhance the gameplay at all. Plus, with the 360, you get seamless integration with LIVE, meaning leaderboards and more gamers to play with online.

Outside of the graphics, which won't matter...

If you already own both systems, get it on the 360. Everyone else has presented some solid arguments, specifically the online system, which would lead me to side with the 360 version. The Wii just isn't ready for DLC, and doesn't have an easy way to hook up with friends.

Between you and ThePasca, I have been given logical reasons for 360 rock band. That signifies win.

And I'm not even a fan of the 360... imagine that....

Glad I could help.

What's the problem with you guys ?? I'm not even a native english speaker and I understand what "Absolutely, there's a CHANCE we get a Wii version" means and that's totally different then "Absolutely, there will BE a Wii version".

I vote 360. With a 20/120GB hard drive you'll have plenty of room for more songs from DLC, provided you can afford the dlc, I know I can't, right now.

Thats not what it meant, saying "is there any chance Rock Band will arrive on Wii", is like saying "will there be a Wii version", and when they say absolutely, that basically means there will absolutely be a Wii version, when and how good it will be is a whole other issue.

Besides read the rest of the quote, he says he is eager to explore the possibilities of the Wii and Wii Remote.
