Nope, looks like a new version. There is also, a diamond plate one out there as well. It is cheaper but very sturdy. This one like kinda cool as well. So you have multiple choices there.

I didn't bother calling them I just figured I would just get the plate and repair it, No sense in replacing something that is just going to break again due to faulty design. I will post my feedback when I receive my Mega Pedal.:)

The diamond plate one works great. So if this one is similar in quality I would say it will work just as well. As for replacing the broken pedals. EA is the company doing the warranty work on them. Yes, they are replacing broken ones.

Be sure to keep us posted on how these work as it seems without EA completely redesigning the pedal we may all need one of these eventually.
