Both guitars (yes, I have 2) are not working. One will navigate through the menus but when I go to play it's showing that the blue button is stuck down. The other one will not allow for any strumming and thus I can't even get into the menu to try to play. This happened before when I tried to play a DLC song about a week ago but the problem resolved itself within minutes.
I have rebooted the PS3 several times, changed dongles, moved dongles to other USB ports, and tried both guitars and NEITHER will work!!!
In addition to the above my microphone arrow will suddenly go wiggly on songs (no, it's not me). I used to be able to change USB ports and that would solve the problem. That no longer works. I now have to shut off the PS3 and that seems to fix it ........for a while. We can't do the endless setlist due to this problem.
Lastly, I put in for express replacement for our drums on which the red pad died. The EA site shows them as shipped. UPS does not. I've also put in an RMA for an express replacement for one of the guitars on which the strummer is going out and the overdrive has a mind of its own. I've gotten as far as label printed.
So, Harmonix people - I need to know, is this Rock Band causing all of the problems or is my PS3 dying and in need of service through Sony????? And, what is up with EA showing "Parts Shipped" and UPS showing "Billing Information Received"????????????
