This song as DLC, please: The Rat - The Walkmen

I think if it were included in the game, it'd be a fun song to play. The drum portion as well as the guitar I think could place it in the higher tiers of difficulty as well. Even though the Walkmen are an indie band, they are also probably as popular as the New Pornographers, who were included on disc. The band has also been willing to license the song out before, as it has appeared in the soundtracks of several games.

So Harmonix, I beg you: Please get this song up as DLC, ASAP. I'd be willing to pay a high price for it, if need be. ;)

I was thinking a lot about a good Walkmen song for this game, The Rat would definitely be a great contender.

My favorite has always been Thinking of a Dream, but I am not so sure it would be the best fit for rock band.

It would of course be nice to see any song make it in though.

Also "Lost in Boston", "Another One Goes By", "Subterranean Homesick Blues", and "Many Rivers to Cross" (Yes, I'm aware that the last three are covers, but they're all pretty awesome and would maybe be the easiest way to get Dylan/Nilsson in the game).

Also, yeah, "Thinking of a Dream" and "The Rat" would be amazing. "The Rat" is actually the first song I ever requested for this game.

I was unfortunate enough to hear this band for the first time opening for Kaiser Chiefs, and the sound mixing was terrible. I can't get that moment out of my head and it's made it difficult for me to enjoy them since. I even left before KC even came on, haha.

I love this song, and you're right about the drumming being intense, but the guitar is straight up boring. It works great for the song, but in the game you'd just be playing a few chords over and over for four minutes at a fast speed, hardly my idea of fun.

This would be kind of like Kool Thing: somewhat boring guitar and bass, but INSANE drums. It'd have harder vocals, though. It gets my vote for sure.
