Yeah... if One is released as DLC, how the hell do you expect us to do the 16th note double-bass at the darkness riff??

you guys really should release a double-bass accessory.

You do realize that HMX charts the drum charts for only one pedal right?

check out Nightmare in bonus tour, or the Metallica DLC. most parts where a double bass pedal was used in real life have the beats that were played with the left foot taken out.

and on wikipedia, 'One' was taken off of the DLC chart. i'm wondering if 'One' being on RB was just a rumor.

It's funny that you think those are straight 16th notes...they're actually sextuplets (think triplet x 2) :)

And One was always just a rumor as DLC, never confirmed anywhere by anyone.

And like they said above, if it ever was released, it would be played the same way as any other song currently in the game that has double-kick parts...with one pedal and some kick notes removed.

I can't find the link where I saw it first, but this is one I just found right now, here (http://www.rollingstone.com/rockdaily/index.php/2007/08/15/metallica-deny-lawsuit-rumor-ugk-top-billboard-chart-radiohead-push-new-lp-to-2008/):

"Contrary to reports they were returning to their lawsuit-happy, Napster-killing ways, Metallica are not suing the video games “Guitar Hero 3” and “Rock Band” for featuring their …And Justice For All song “One.” A spokesperson for the band tells us that the band has licensed the song to the game makers and look forward to it appearing in both titles."

Edit: Take note this is from August 15, 2007 though.

I was really looking forward to a double pedal setup. It just feels so lacking without the second pedal, and I'm hoping at some point I can get my hands on another pedal and patch the cords together to rig something up myself.

I think that article might have been a joke. Metallica would definately know if they licensed their song.

Shameless plug: they could always make a double bass pedal (http://www.rockband.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21228) peripheral. Anyway...

Yes, One would be seriously weak if they just used one pedal and halved the double bass pedals part. But we need two pedals! Man. ):
