Monster Squad finally coming to DVD

I honestly can't explain how excited I am by this. Monster Squad is one of those movies I have seen, like, 50 times. It is written by Shane Black (LETHAL WEAPON!!!!), it has all the old movie monsters in it, there is a discussion about whether Wolfman has nards, and to this day I still say "My name...click clack...is HORACE." When we realized this still hadn't come out on DVD some friends of mine were considering putting some money away to buy the rights and put out our own DVD of it (a long shot but my commentary would have ruled). Well not only is it coming out - but it is also coming out in a disc set with a bunch of commentaries, a reunion documentary, and a bunch of other stuff. This is my dream realized.

Anyone else remember this gem?

I still watch this movie weekly on a worn out VHS. I don't think I 've been more excited about a movie in a looong time.

This movie was awesome,one of my all time favorites.I bought the limited collectors edition off ebay a few months back.Sad about the fat kid though R.I.P

We used to ask this to the fat kid in our neighborhood as kids. I don't think we realized it was mean though. Oh well; it was funny.

I have this on DVD and it is great. Defintely a classic. I am glad that others appreciate it as much as me. I tell people about it and they say, "never heard of it."
