from what ive read there may be some trouble having 4 players on the xbox 360... but im not sure whats goin on there. ps3 should be fine with 4 instrments running at once though

There shouldn't be a problem with the XBox 360 either, unless all 4 peripherals are wired. The 360 can handle up to 4 controllers, but appears to only be able to handle 3 wired controllers.
