First Of All I've Got An Xbox 360 Elite, I Hate Micro$oft & Think It's A Poor Console Overall, That's Why I Bought A Ps3 & Now I'm Trying To Flog Off My Crappy 360 Elite.:d
& 2nd I Took Out The Hard Drive To Stick In A Cheap 100gb One Off Ebay.
Now Come On Some Good Answers.

Stupid console fanboys. This problem happens on both systems (yeah both, you heard me PS2).
"i had 2 delete my sav file" I don't understand but you should make a new band and name it something else for now. Old band names are stored on the servers for a while, keep trying to rename your band back to the old name and eventually it should work. Might be days or weeks.

Thanks fred, i'll keep trying, also i'm not a fan-boy, well maybe but not for a f**king games console, i just think sony is better, online for free that actually works! better customer support, but obviously xbox does have call of juarez & dead rising, s**t i might have to take it off ebay. lol

Not in the world of Rock Band, the 360's not dead. Pass me that OXM disc, would you kindly? ;)
For the sake of actually helping instead of pointing out the fallacy in your statement, does the PS3 sell some sort of external memory device, say a memory card that you could transfer the save to from your old drive, then move to the new drive afterwards?

You can use any sort of memory stick provided you don't have a 40G or 20G model can you not? I'm not sure about save game files because I have a 20G.
