I am a little worried

I am eagerly anticipating the arrival of rock band.

But I haven’t seen squat on the PS3 version. Now I own both the 360 and PS3
But I was hoping to get it for PS3 , mainly cuz I would like to play the Music games on one machine. I currently have the 3 Gh's for PS2. Has anyone seen footage of the PS3 game?

And if it does come out, will it be at the same time as the 360? I ask because everywhere I look I see the 360 version, but no definitive info on the PS3.

By the way , I am no fanboy.

It says on the main page it's being released on Ps3 and Xbox 360 this Fall. Because it's around the same time, it must be the same day.

If it were to be anything different, then it would something like the 360 version in Nov. and Ps3 in the Spring.

Obviously that's not the case. So I wouldn't have any worries for Ps3 owners. It's the Wii owners who are biting their nails.

EDIT: About footage...the hardware on the 360 is easier to develop on than the Ps3. I believe this is the reasoning given as to why we're seeing Xbox 360's being demo'd on.

They've been doing all their publicizing with the 360, but they're working on the PS3 version at the same time. I'm not sure why they're not doing demos with the PS3 version at all yet, but I'm sure both games will be just about identical once they're completed. There's no signs that point to either version being better than the other at the moment (unless you take not seeing PS3 version in action as a bad sign).

Hopefully they'll show off the PS3 version at some point prior to November!

Considering the PS3 uses Bluetooth (which is cheap to implement), I'll bet yes.

That's what I'm thinking. If we could get an official announcement it would be nice. Even if the drums and Mic aren't wireless atleast the PS3 has enough USB connections. If the drums and Mic aren't wireless for the 360 I'm going to need a USB hub, for when I want a full band offline. Seeing as I'm planning to use the Explorer for the Base that's three usb slots I don't have, seeing as I have a Wireless Adapter. Plus with little ones running around, a complete wireless setup would be ideal.

Well games have been announced for both PS3 and 360 before and the PS3 version ended up delayed, look at Dirt it was announced for both systems and was down on the codemasters site to be released on the same day but the PS3 version was then delayed to a much later date it's still not out yet.. while this is no indication that it will happen with Rock band i would be less worried if Harmonix stated that both would arrive the same day without fail.

come to think of it I would like it if Harmonix mention anything in regards to the Euro release seeing as i'm in the UK, not knowing even if it's coming this year is a lot worse than whether it's being delayed for one system or the other.

Same thing happened with Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas and I heard bad things about it , like they messed up online because it was a bad Port , Learn from this HMX Dont PORT Games and if you do fix the bugs you might Find.
