Yeah, I want them to win. I just got into baseball recently because of a friend of mine. I think they've got a good chance, but I'm one of those pessimistic fans who want it to happen, but are afraid it isn't going to.:(

Choke? Choke implies that they were expected to actually do something. It was amazing for us to even see our tige's in the playoffs, given thier crappiness since the eighties.

Not really, did you know I played baseball once? I didn't know we were playing because of the extreme lack of action. We were out-fielding, and I asked if we were playing yet, we had been playing for 20 minutes now. When I have kids I shall punish them by making them watch the Yankees play.

Yea, baseball is almost like an acquired taste. When I was younger I couldn't really watch it because it was boring. But as I got older, I got more into the sport as far as statistics, and I began to understand the sport more.

But it's all preference. Personally, I can't stand Football, which is for some reason the biggest sport in the country.

My point exactly, people are quick to discard the sport saying it's boring. That's before you understand it. I used to be one of those people as well. But once you get into it, the game is really involved.

I agree... I know a lot of people who say they hate the sport and find it boring and at the same time they don't understand any part of the game... I think that once you get a feel for the game you can understand how exciting it can be, it's the same with any sport...

Well unless they have Bartman sacrifice a goat at home plate during the 7th inning stretch in their last home game of the regular season then have Zambrano take off his belt and chase him backwards (home to 3rd and so on) around all 4 bases while whipping him.
