2 things at once

Or Drums while Singing
or Bass while singing.
Because a cheap mic stand would make this possible.

Well, if you're playing a song by a three-piece, might as well have someone double up. The rush part will probably be the hardest to double-up "properly" since it's a hard bass line and vocals.

lol that would be interesting to see you could play the guitar with your hands use the drum sticks with your feet but i'm at a loss as to how your going to use the kick drum pedal.. :D

Technically you could play drums and sing at the same time. But that really takes a lot of skill I think. It can be hard enough trying to sing while playing lead guitar.

It can be a little easier to sing while playing rhythm or bass, because the vocals can go with the flow of that more.

At least that's what I think.

gonna try bass and singing, hope I can figure out how to do it. I think that'll fill a lot of the holes that'll pop up in online play...most people will want to do drums or guitar, so I can swoop right in and be like, 'yah, it's cool...I got the rest...'

then they will talk endlessly about how awesome I am...

For me it's gonna be vocals alone or guitar alone.. I know from real life experiences that I can't sing and play real guitar at the same time. I fugure RB will be no different.

I'll give Playing Guitar/Singing a shot but I've tried singing along wit ha few of the GH2 songs and I lose my focus and screw up at some of the harder parts.:(

I'm pretty sure he was joking.

Although...during the solo sections, you just do ho/po on the guitar, so you only need one hand. Then, you could hold 2 sticks in one hand, basically the same way mallet players hold two sticks. Even the non-solo sections, you could just strum with your chin or something...yeah.

The funny thing is I half expect someone to try that now...lol.

You just use the guitar neck and whammy bar as drumsticks. It's a pretty common technique among famous musicians.

As for me, I'll be trying it all, since I started singing and playing guitar on 80s edition and it wasn't that hard.

I think playing drums and singing without a mic stand would be easier than singing playing guitar. You could just rest the mic on top of the drum set whereas when your playing gitar you have to tape the mic to your head pretty much

Unfortunately, I believe you're gonna have to have two characters. I think I remember Sean or somebody saying there'd have to be 4 people on-stage, and I haven't seen anything saying otherwise yet.

Sort of a bummer, really. I mean, yeah..it's an excuse to make more characters, but it'd still make me feel silly.

I'm definitely going to try singing & playing one of the guitars at the same time. Granted, I'm only going to try it with songs I know so that I don't have to constantly monitor the notes and lyrics.

I'll be playing bass and guitar at the same time...try to picture how this will work okay? I'll have my lead guitar in front of me (with the head of the guitar pointing to my left) and another guitar behind me (for bass (with the head of it pointing to my right))...I'll play the fretboard on my lead guitar (in front of me) with my TEETH and I'll reach my RIGHT HAND over my right shoulder to play the fretboard on my bass guitar......my strum bar for my lead guitar will be clicked by my LEFT HAND while the strum bar on the bass (behind me) will be upstrummed by kicking it with my LEFT HEEL...any questions? (I'll be standing on my right leg) ...I don't think I'll be able to whammy though without pushing the guitar against a wall or something!

me and my friends have been experimenting playing GH with our toes. so if u have enough focus and put whatever instrument ur playing with ur feet on easy or medium(hard is risky and expert is out of the question, it is nearly impossible to nail a green-orange chord with ur toes) you could play guitar, bass, and the mic. Im not sure if u could do vocals, drums, and guitar/bass tho because of the pedal

WELL THEN I might be able to play drums too!!!! I'll play the guitar with my teeth and my left hand, the bass with my left and right feet and I'll play the drums with my right hand (and my right knee for the bass pedal!)
