I caught a little blurb, something like "stay tuned for the new rock news, coming up next. We disclose what landmark album is going to be provided, in it's entirety, for the upcoming Rock Band game."

Sadly I got to work so didn't get to stick around for the new rock news to see exactly what their 'announcement' was going to be. I'm assuming it wasn't something we don't already know, I'm guessing that since it's an alternative station they were probably just reporting on the Nirvana Nevermind info. Still, pretty cool that they're talking about it on one of the biggest stations in St. Louis, wish I had got to hear how much detail they went into about the game....

anyone else hearing stuff like this around the country?

Nice, it most likely Nevermind or maybe Who's Next, I hope it wasn't a new album that we don't know about! I personally haven't heard anything on any rock stations, but I don't listen to them for that long, except when I'm driving. Rock Band is getting a lot of notice, and it deserves it, hopefully we get some more big news on it this month.

I doubt its a new one. Any new info on the game unless they release it directly to radio stations will almost undoubtedly be here first. Radios tend to be a few days late in their info

I actually heard the exact same thing on the radio this morning, i live in Toronto, Canada the name of the station is 97.7 HTZ fm. Its a great station for old and new rock. The only "news" they mentioned was that Nirvana's Nevermind was gonna be on a new game called Rockband. They clearly didn't know what they were talking about cause they actually called Rockband a "ripoff" of guitar hero. BLASPHEMY !!!!!!!
