my drums r jacked up

ok i play mostly expert/hard so i had to tape down my red, yellow and green pads cuz they weren't reading fast enough.

no problems there for a few weeks, but i noticed this playing with a group last night.

sometimes when i hit my yellow pad, it will register a hit with on the red pad too. happens a lot more when doing a line of yellows. thought i might b hitting red accidently but not the case.

what the hell could this be? really throws off my streaks

seems to happen more when i hit towards the bottom left of the yellow pad. i have to focus on hitting more towards the top right of the yellow to keep it from happening... anyone?

You have taped them down too far and the vibration from one pad is transfering to the other pad.

If you own a hot glue gun and don't mind voiding your warranty, I'll tell you my super secret fix for the pad issues.

try changing the tape so they're not taped down so far.
