I've finally met something I just can't do

I've been rocking Expert guitar since the days of GH1. To my surprise I was able to defeat hard and soon to follow expert vocals. And I've worked my way from medium, through hard, up to expert drums. I've finally met my match. Drums are hard as HELL XD I'm on the 5th level for drums and it's getting harder and harder. I beat one of the songs, I tried 2 others and they pretty much raped me. This is gonna be a fun task, I struggled really hard to beat the last song on the 4th tier. It's alot like RTTH on hard but less notes, than comes a pattern that I can't keep a combo on for the life of me. I couldn't even pass it until I practiced. It required me to hit the bass pedal along with the red pad at the same time... I realized my right foot can't work with my left hand o.O; I felt like an idiot trying to do it. Anyway, I practiced and managed to get it down. I had to sacrifice hitting the blue pad inbetween these notes but it kept me alive....

So, anyone else close to admitting defeat? I have to say, I did fight for this, and I've gotten better and better but it's a battle =]

As much as I love rhythm games, I must admit I'm not the best at them. I'm still working my way up through hard on drums (Run to the hills is giving me trouble), and I've all but given up on GG&HT on expert guitar. I've practiced and practiced, but I just can't get past that damn second solo...so, here I lie...defeated. I think I'm just too old to learn new tricks and my fingers just don't move that fast. :(

P.S. The solo in 'Action' is also out of my grasp.

Sometimes you just gotta take a break and not worry about it, you'll come back to realize you're better and you can do it all of the sudden. Happened to me quite a few times XD Second solo is definetely dangerous and can take some practice to get through. I've never failed Green Grass and even the first time through I was happy to be done. I got so close to failing during the ending triple tower as I call it. I was literally half an inch from failed, just barely squeezed by. Only improved since than, so keep at it =]

Solo in 'Action'? Is this a song I'm too stupid to think of?

It's the Sweet song from last weeks DLC. It has this insanely fast solo part in it that my fingers just comprehend. Here, this should help...the part that kills me is at 2:37. The small runs aren't that bad...but I just can't kill it. Mmm...maybe I should go try again. :)

Im stuck on the fall out boy song at 71&#37; and betroit rock city at 70% yet i can get up to 80% on Won't get fooled again on expert. it literaly took me less than a week to go from medium to expert having only played drums a few times before

I've tried Dead on Arrival, just not on that level yet. Need more practice. If I played drums more maybe I'd get farther but I really only play drums once or twice a week.

Im just about to give up on expert drums too ive been stuck on dont fear the reaper for weeks and its true the more you play the worse you get cause before I Could hit almost every note before I got to the solo area now I have a hard time doing the basic beat. But yet I have beat every other song in the game except Run To The Hills and even that ive gotten pretty close to beating
