Guitar Compatibilty (PS2 Related)

Ok here's my question

i have rock band for PS3 and i have GH2 with the red SG on PS2.

Now my question is can i use the Strat. on GH2 since the guitar is PS2 compatible?


and i also heard that the SG's are compatible on the PS3 version with usb adapters, can anybody vouch for that or is it screwed up like if you tried to play GH 1,2, or 80's on PS3?

I don't think the strats work with GH2 on ps2.

I've read on these forums though from people that have tried, that the SG's are not compatible with usb adapters on the ps3 version of RB at all. I think it reads them as mic controllers.
