Just heard that the guitar controller will be the Fender Stratocaster. Check out the official press release here (http://www.gamingbits.com/content/view/2081/2/).

Now all I need is a PS3 or an XBox 360 ... oh ... and the game ... and a LOT of free time.
Disclaimer: I would not take Sean's reply as official confirmation that PS2 GH controllers will work with Rock Band nor would modded guitars to work with GH2 on a PS2. Accordion and CowBell game controllers are a different story. Now THOSE I've heard are being fully supported ... on Dreamcast.

Huskie, your guitar/controller is ACE, I soooo want one :)
I have the xb360 GH2 now, so I could take apart one of my PS2 guitars :)
Anyone know if you can get a PSX2 to XB360 adapter?

XFPS 360 will probably do the job. It claims to work as an keyboard + mouse adapter and ALSO PS2 controllers adapter. Never heard of anyone who actually tested it, but in the product manual they state it does work. I wouldn't risk it, as it's a crappy mouse adapter and it costs $80.

Makes me wish they had released that as an option with GH2. I play a real Strat, so it would've been cool to have a matching game controller.

Fender- my worst enemy..
I'm cool with featuring Boss; I've actually got my eye on a bass overdrive pedal of theirs. Has to be Fender, though, doesn't it? Of course. Everyone and their granny plays a Fender. Why not Ibanez or ESP?

I hope someone bothers to make a Jackson or two. Fender is great and all, but in design (which is really the only model difference in fake guitars) it's definitely behind Jackson guitars.
