Rock Band Needs Black Metal

Ok this is my idea of a wicked black metal pack for the future:

Cradle Of Filth - Ghost in the fog
Job for a Cowboy - Entombment of a Machine
Children Of Bodom - Hatecrew Deathroll

THIS PACK WOULD KICK ASS!!!

As much as I love Black Metal, I don't think stuff like Behemoth and Gorgoroth would work well in this game. However, some Melodic Black Metal like Cradle of Filth would be AWESOME! This game is suffering from a lack of metal...:(

I think that Harmonix would rather create DLC packs that would sell to a wide audience rather than to a handful of devotees of a niche genre, but who knows? I never expected them to release that Thrash Metal DLC pack due out in March.

job for a cowboy and children of bodom are not black metal, but deathcore and melodic death metal respectively. cradle of filth isn't really black metal either, they had a single release that could qualify as BM ("dusk and her embrace") which wasn't very good anyway.

a black metal pack in general wouldn't be the best idea, but i wouldn't mind singing or playing guitar on emperor's "i am black wizards".

I never expected them to release that Thrash Metal DLC pack due out in March.the thrash pack has me confused. on one hand, i'm excited that they're not afraid to put some real metal in there. but at the gates isn't thrash, and the haunted are a weak combo of melodic death and post-thrash.

my thinking is, if you're going to put thrash in and call it a "thrash pack", put good old-school thrash in (exodus, kreator, dark angel, death angel, megadeth, slayer, sodom, list goes on and on...) and if you're going to put melodic death metal in, pick some more exciting and dynamic stuff like dark tranquillity's "punish my heaven" or in flames' "moonshield".

just my thought but hey, i'm downloading the thrash pack (as well as the grand majority of that march DLC) because i want to support the addition of that kind of stuff.
