so when is the final gameplay screen going to be released. i personaly think the screens in the magazines are cool but may need a few tweaks.

They've been shown a billion times :) That's been decided I'm sure.

As for menus and such, it was shown in the 40min Gamespot video. They're probably wrapping up on most of the stuff. Just get out the bugs and kinks with hardware and such. But for screens, expect to see what you've been seeing would be my guess.

Just go to Gamespot.com, search Rock Band, then go through the videos. For me to get the link is no different than you doing it lol I don't feel like going through all of them while you can do the same :)

I'm guessing that score duel is just like the head to head mode on GH2. I'd have to think about what tug of war could be, maybe the players fight for the crowd's attention, and who ever the crowd likes most wins... but I don't know how that would work. hmm...

I was thinking about Tug of War mode and came up with this. It would be like pro face off but instead of score it would be like Guitar Hero's rock meter where the red section would be player 1, the yellow would be the neutral section, and player 2 would be the green and the arrow would adjust on the meter moving either towards the red or green depending on who's doing better and then one player wins when the arrow points all the way left or all the way right on the respective winner's section of the meter. That's what I came up with at least.

I reckon ababypenguin's got the right idea, fighting for the crowds attention. Maybe similar to normal face off mode... but hopefully not.

I have a feeling that Tug of War is similar to what we would call normal face-off in Guitar Hero, you will trade off playing part of the song, going back and forth, almost like tug of war I guess.

Then Score Duel will be like pro-face off you are both playing the same song on the same difficulty, trying to out score eachother.

yuck, I hated the normal face off in GH2. It was really boring taking turns playing the song.

I haven't played multiplayer GH in so long. I thought it was the "take turns" thing on co-op, but during Pro Face-Off you play the same notes at the same time?

The fight for the crowd idea is great I think. I'd love to see that implemented, then build up on it a little more than just a meter. There's so many things they can do to this game!
