This is not my work in the least. I just happened to meet the artist in IRC and viewed his thread on scorehero.

Here's the link to his post:

The color, accents, design, etc. are absolutely flawless. Very well detailed. I cannot help but admire the craftsmanship.

pretty sweet job but I'm not so digging the lime green color, lol. To make it complete. he should reapply the fender logo to the head.

That's quite awesome, I like how the paint job redoes that rather pukish tan plastic that used to be the neck and headstock.

Wow, all I can say is wow. The wood grain is amazing. I sure hope the guitar holds out for him...

What's with all the DB's getting pissy about him not sharing his technique? *laugh*

That's an amazing job... I wish I had those skills.

The color is the best part! Of course I'm crazy for all things green.

And regarding the logo, I guess he already had that idea and ordered a real press-on decal to replace the one on the head. (mentioned briefly in the SH thread)

Seeing the faux woodgrain, this makes me wonder if anyone's ever considered making a full-size guitar controller completely out of wood. If you've got the tools to make a space between the halves of the guitar and between halves of the neck, it seems like it'd be pretty easy. From the photo he posted in that thread of the inside of the controller, there's not much to it.

Makes me wish I had the money and the access to a woodshop.
