3 Doors Down - Having two prominent guitarists makes including this band a little tricky but they have some impressive drumming and are solid all around. Kryptonite is a natural pick.
Alice in Chains - Many of their great songs have long stretches without drums, vocals, or bass, but Would? does not suffer from that problem.
Better Than Ezra - Desperately Wanting would be a lot of fun.
Blink-182 - Repetitive guitar parts and two lead singers holds this band back. Perhaps Dammit could work well enough...
Breaking Benjamin - A nice fit for Rock Band. Breath is a favorite of mine.
Bush - This is one of my favorite bands and they would work well in this game. I hope that the whole Sixteen Stone album makes it into the game; Machinehead and Little Things are especially perfect for Rock Band.
Chevelle - Sadly, this great band was quickly forgotten. The Red would make a nice easy song while Vitamin R could offer a little more challenge.
Coldplay - It's true, Coldplay often utilizes a lot of echo effects in their songs which could complicate things. Still, Talk would be a lot of fun to play.
Counting Crows - Many of their songs just don't rock hard enough for this game but Mr. Jones could, and probably should, be included. The drummer may get bored...
The Cranberries - Rock Band badly needs some songs with female vocalists and Zombie is one of the very best. The drum part would be a little underwhelming but the vocals would be crazy!
The Cult - Fire Woman would be tremendously fun to play. I want it.
The Cure - It would be a little weird playing Just Like Heaven without any control over the keyboard but it could work. It is hard to hear the bass but they could change that.
Fuel - A lot of their songs start without bass an/or drums but the wait would be worth it to play Shimmer. The bass and drums are great.
Garbage - Great female vocals and bass. Only Happy When It Rains sounds nice but the drumming is painfully dull.
Green Day - I understand that their guitar parts would be pretty dull and repetitive but it gives a little chance for the bassists and drummers to shine. When I Come Around is a great song but Welcome To Paradise might be better suited for the game. Jesus of Suburbia would be fun but possibly impractically long and complex.
Hoobastank - They aren't my favorite band by any means but Crawling In the Dark seems like a perfect fit for the game.
Live - A lot of their songs start out soft but I Alone actually gives the bassist and drummer a little to do before things heat up.
Nickleback - They are mostly bested by earlier bands like Pearl Jam but How You Remind Me is unique enough to earn a spot in the game.
Oasis - Because Oasis tends to rely on synthesizers and keyboard in most of their songs, they aren't a perfect fit for the game. Even still, Don't Look Back In Anger would work nicely despite the keyboard and I'd love to play Champagne Supernova even if it isn't the best song for the game.
The Offspring - Some of their songs might have dull guitar parts but Come Out and Play is a nice exception.
Pearl Jam - If the mighty Pearl Jam doesn't make it into Rock Band I won't be the only one upset. Ten should definately be an offered album as should dozens of their songs. Alive is absolutely neccessary!
Puddle of Mudd - Certainly a song of theirs could make it into the game. Drift and Die would probably be best.
Saliva - I would like Always to get into Rock Band. It seems like a good fit.
Seether - The vocals might be unimpressive but the rest of the roles in Fine Again would be fun to play.
Shinedown - I would be pleased if they got into the game; Save Me would be a nice song.
Smashing Pumpkins - Unfortunately, in most of their songs guitar sounds tend to block out most of the bass and vocals. It would be a shame to keep the pumpkins out completely but I can't think of the best song. Today or Cherub Rock would work decently well.
Soundgarden - A great band for this game. Fell On Black days is my song of choice. Fun drum and bass parts.
Staind - Another one of my favorite bands. It's Been Awhile would be great for the game but I worry that the profanity might be unacceptable. In that event, So Far Away would be a suitable replacment.
Sum 41 - The Hell Song is a perfect fit for Rock Band. It has great bass and good vocals, drums, and guitar parts. It also features impressive variety.
