Importing Rock Band - UK

Hey all,

I'm importing Rock Band for the PS3 - It's been in customs since Tuesday last week, and yesterday I got a letter from Customs basically telling me they want more information on the product, as well as proof of purchase, such as an invoice.

So this morning, I filled out the form, sent it off along with a print of an eBay invoice...

How long does this process add to my wait? I've already waited almost 1 month, now I have this ¬_¬

Has anyone else been in this situation? Does it take long for them to see the letter and accept it or whatever they do ¬_¬

Never heard of that before.
I guess they want more info to calculate how much tax they need to add to it.
But video games shouldn't be a problem.

usally a few weeks, they also want tax from the shipping cost.

Video games shouldn't go through all that.
When I imported GHIII it only spent one day in customs.
Could it be because it's badly labeled or something ??(just guessing).

Not sure... I wonder if it was because the woman labelled it as £80 (Whereas it was £140)

I spose I'll just have to wait and see - I hope it comes before the weekend :(

Yep :p Not sure why she done that - I spose it was to minimize the customs cost but Ill get the full cost now I should think :(

Yeah, some people lower the price to increase chances of it getting through without you having to pay for it.
I guess someone at the custom's office was awake, maybe it was a Rock Band fan that knew that no way could you get that game for 80. If the seller would have written the actual amount, you probably would have gotten it sooner.
And you would have gotten the full cost anyway(even if she hadn't change the price).
I calculated what my bundle would have cost(Swedish custom thankfully are modern and allows you simply type in the price and shipping costs and it calculates the amount), it will go around 34,31 british pound(I naturally pay in swedish crowns, this is merely to help you estimate what your fee will be).
