I'm not making any confirmations, but somebody once mentioned something like this and sean replied with 'We have a lot of surprises in store.. youll just have to wait and see' which says to me that they may well be planning something along the lines of this already. But we'll see. If i'm wrong, I'll sign up for this one i guess

The site is getting a major upgrade to tie it into Rock Band in November. All these impatient and non-official sites are annoying me.

I'll stick with the Harmonix owned and operated community site.

What you should do is wait for RB to upgrade this site. Then you look for things that it's missing and add those to yours as another resource.

That's what scorehero did.. Theirs wasn't a clone of the RB site but a 3rd party upgrade, and look how well it did. They still may be making the website based on a lot of the ideas you're using, and i'd venture to guess they'll have a better system just because you can't possibly have the resources they have. So hang tight and wait it out til you see some services you can provide that the new site will not be able to :)

thru the website, it will be easy to find people in your area to either a: hang out and play guitar hero with b: Have guitar hero parties and get togethers and c: when rock band comes out find band members in your area to possibly put on a rock show together with

Not trying to slam your idea but this site already does such.

You should really hold off, brainstorm something unique, and get a team to throw it all together. Harmonix may even endorse you like ScoreHero.

As a heads up this site offers limited media space. Fix it.
