Ok...here is my ultimate set list...my hope is that if nothing else some of you get introduced to some music you didnt know about...I think the list is great. Some bands I just put down with no specific song...

Also...Im aware I left out MANY bands like Metallica, Iron Maiden...etc etc....but they have been listed already...no reason to beat the dead horse...so here are some others....hope you enjoy.

Whew....ok then, thats my list. It aint perfect...but I think its a helluva road map. Some songs may not fully work...but I encourage you all to check those bands out...way more great stuff then the few songs I was able to list. Hope some of this makes the game....

"Breathe" is great thats a good choice but would Breaking Benjamin be allowed to include "Blow Me Away" or is that exclusive to Halo?

Indeed Fyction, we seem to have similar taste in music. Of all the bands I recognize on your list (the majority), I would enjoy all of them in Rock Band except Eric Clapton. Let us together support modern rock. I don't dislike classic rock or metal but I feel that their fans are over-represented in this forum.

I agree bro...


Truly I love all types of music...my IPod definitely runs the gamut. However...I would love to see some modern rock in there. Don't get me wrong...metal is great to play...however....there is some INCREDIBLE modern rock out there...and I would love to see RB jump on board with some of that. Even some slower stuff would be great. IE "Even Rats" and "Stellar" from GH1. Not songs you "rip" to...but sometimes its just fun to play to great music...I don't need to be shredding a solo to enjoy myself.

"Fly From the Inside" by Shinedown is one of my favorite songs ever, I'd love to see that in there. "Plush" by STP is good, and so is "Breath" by Breaking Benjamin. The Halo Theme would be way fun on guitar, but theres not much else in there, just choir, which is probably not to much fun to sing. "Blow me Away" by Breaking Benjamin would be a better solution to get your Halo fix.
