Maybe if HMX could do this as DLC--say, "if you've downloaded 40+ songs", allow downloading this gig as additional DLC:

58 random songs, reordered by increasing band difficulty.

The Really, We Mean It This Time, It's Endless Setlist
100 random songs, reordered by increasing band difficulty (only activates if the player has completed the Endless Setlist and the Endless Mystery Setlist, and downloaded at least 42 songs)
This could also be one of the ways to work in the extra 250 achievement points allowed through DLC, giving points for completing on medium, hard, expert. For example: Endless Mystery: Med 20, Hard 35, Expert 45; Really Endless: Med 25, Hard 50, Expert 75
Just a thought. It would be nice to download a game level even crazier and more extreme than the Endless Setlist, and use the DLC in something more substantial than the shorter make a setlists/mystery setlists. Even if it didn't go towards total fans for leaderboard balance. Though it could be cool if you found a way to patch the game to make icons of the form "double platinum", for example, as a reward for beating one of these monsters.
