Interesting move by Guitar Hero 3.....

I was on Joystiq.com and read the news about more songs added to the list of Guitar Hero 3.

The interesting part is that Mississippi Queen by Mountain, has showed up on the song list for there game. It's an interesting move on there part, i wonder if we will see some songs on Rock Band that have been announced on Guitar Hero 3 ?

Yeah, GH3 also took Paranoid and Reptillia.
And there's also a few posts about this already.
In closing, I don't think GH3 is helping itself any.

If you think about it would you prefer playing any of those songs with a guitar or with a guitar drum or just sing so its more of a RockBand win and if they can take our songs HMX take theirs!

If i were a guitar hero fan, i'd be ticked off at them being in both. Really weakens the gh3 setlist

I think it's a stupid move..

Look at it this way, you can play guitar and bass in guitar hero.

or you can play guitar, bass and drums in rock band.

Neversoft should have tried to get songs that weren't in rock band to attract more people.

do you think neversoft and hmx have had any interaction over setlist? I doubt it.

I see HMXSean has posted on one of the other posts relating to the ROBBERY that is Guitar Hero 3. lol

But does not mention his opinion on the topic, I know he prob can't. I would still really like to know HMX view(honest view that is) on this.

I really hope that Rock Band doesn't stoop down to GH's level. Let them take as many songs as they want, they're still "Guitar Hero". They won't be having any drums or vocals.
So please, Rock Band. I'm pleading with ya. Don't take any of their songs. You'll be hurting your image.

I must say that the only songs announced there that have me excited are

"Cities on Flame with Rock and Roll"(better than Dont Fear the Reaper IMO)
and
"Raining Blood"

But Im really dissapointed about the doubled songs...
